An individual consult is $160.00 When you have a referral from your General practitioner under a Mental Health Care Plan you are able to claim clinical psychology rebates. For an hour consultation this rebate is currently $117.65, leaving you with a gap payment of $42.35 Clients with a health care card may be asked to pay the full gap or a smaller gap depending on their circumstances. Please enquire directly about what concessions may be available.
The practice has direct online rebates for Medicare via Mediclear so your claim can be processed immediately. Also all major credit cards are accepted. Eftpos facilities are available.
Rebates for fees can be claimed alternatively through the extras tables of your private health fund. It is important to check with your private health fund to confirm that your extras does cover psychology services. Hicaps facilites are available so you can claim usually this rebate immediately . Again, please check your level of cover directly with your fund.
The fee for couple therapy is $165.00. The fees for family therapy is $170.00.
